OUR STORY

In 2014 an idea was formed...to launch an overnight relay run in Alaska. So easy. --eyeroll-- 3 years later Alaska Relay finally came to fruition. Simultaneously, the Spokane to Sandpoint Relay (S2S) was in transition. The two events were brought together and North by Northwest Relays was officially formed.

NxNW events emphasize camaraderie, shenanigans, and accomplishment, all set on scenic and unique courses for runners of all abilities.
